The Trussville Entertainment District (TED) was a public / private partnership designed to provide a catalytic kick start to the development of Downtown Trussville. Providing a vehicular hierarchy of gridded streets allowed for the development of true pedestrian public space within the downtown, which at the time did not exist. The streetscapes including sidewalks, on-street parking, street lights, street trees and plantings throughout helped to frame the existing properties and allow for future development to take place within the framework of the masterplan. The TED is complete with Breweries, restaurants, public parking, a multi-purpose pavilion and stage.
