RESEARCH + ANALYZE
Each site brings with it unique opportunities -- opportunities to tell its individual story based on past, cultural and environmental influences. It's through research and analysis that a site becomes a place, alive and ready to function well into the future while honoring its history and context.
CONCEPT + PLANNING
It all begins with a vision. At the start of each project, we meet with you and the design team to help set that vision which guides all decisions throughout the design and construction process. The concept and planning phase of a project coalesces new ideas with research and analysis to create a truly unique space.
VISUALIZATION
An accurate interpretation of proposed site conditions and design elements builds on the vision and allows client and team to provide critical feedback. With sketches, realistic still images from 3D models, and video flythroughs, it becomes effortless to understand spatial relationships, material choices, and the unfolding narrative.
DOCUMENTATION
As the concept solidifies, our Landscape Architects collaborate with Architects and Engineers to ensure a seamless integration of scope and upholding of the vision when crafting plans and construction detailing. With budget, permitting and construction in mind, our Construction Documents and Specifications enable a clear handoff to the construction team.
VALUE ENGINEERING
Construction costs are always part of the design process. A clear understanding of price escalation in relation to design decisions is critical to the success of the project. We become part of the solution when working with the client and construction team to ensure the project delivers on budget while still living up to the vision.
CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION
Every successful construction project begins with collaboration and teamwork. Our team is dedicated to problem solving during shop drawing, submittal and field reviews. This last part of our process is not just a commitment to the project as built, but an investment in its long-term success.
