Trail Apple Study
PLOT Studio collaborated with the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham, the City of Trussville and SAIN Associates to study the feasibility for the extension of the Greenway through Downtown Trussville, including the Trussville Entertainment District and along the Pinchgut Creek corridor. The study evaluated existing conditions, preferred path of travel, road crossings, environmental constraints and many more elements to provide a comprehensive study of the feasibility of this greenway extension.

Overall Greenway Plan - Pinchgut Trail - Trussville, AL
Section A: Multi-use path connects the existing greenway at the Veteran’s Memorial under Highway 11 along Railroad Avenue to City Hall Drive
Section B: Multi-use path connects City Hall Drive to the Trussville Entertainment District along Railroad Avenue and Pinchgut Creek
Section C: Multi-use path connects the Trussville Entertainment District trailhead under Watterson Parkway along Pinchgut Creek to parking at Winn Dixie
Section D: Multi-use path connects the terminus of Section C and continues along Pinchgut Creek to the existing sidewalk infrastructure adjacent to Hobby Lobby, which ultimately connects to Tutwiler
